I'm still going to be blogging at JessysJournal.com, but I thought it would be nice to have an extra location for some of my work-related links. You should know that what I post over there is usually based partially in reality and partially in my work-world . . . consider my posts here and there as "based on a true story."
If you want to know about the real me -- no creative liberties, shooting straight from the hip -- I am a radical, liberal, atheist, feminist, anti-adoption, pro-choice, anti-war, Obama-supporting, writer, activist, mother, lover, and part-time goat farmer. I breastfeed, cloth diaper, homeschool, and generally follow my instincts when it comes to parenting. I'm trying to be gentle to the earth and teach my kids to do the same. Can you relate? Look me up on myspace or livejournal.
And now, on to our regularly scheduled programming . . .

If you buy just one book this year . . .
. . . Make it Unlearning Adoption: A Guide to Family Preservation and Protection. Not only was this book written by yours truly, but I am certain that it will open your eyes to the atrocities committed every day by the adoption industry.
Before you adopt, before you consent to the adoption of your own child, and before you spend one more day thinking of adoption as a solution for unplanned pregnancy, get your hands on this book and get ready to unlearn everything you thought you knew about adoption and family.
